ArrowXL is now recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our supportive warehouse team, situated at our Airdrie site operating on a 5/7 shift pattern. Leading a team of hardworking Warehouse Operatives, you will hold responsibility for the smooth operation of our warehouse function on the AM Shift, ensuring our delivery crews are loaded up to deliver the best service for all our customers.

Role Responsibility

Reporting to the Warehouse FLM, responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of Warehouse Operatives
• Oversee all aspects of the day to day offload, put away and pick processes (which includes responsibility for stock quality and integrity)
• Regular client and supplier contact
• Completion of various business KPI’s
• Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and processes
• Good housekeeping and quality standards
• Great people leadership
• Checking work quality
• Improving team performance through training and coaching

The Ideal Candidate

With the amount of applications expected for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:

• A current, valid driving licence is essential
• Experience of leading teams, within a customer focused and fast-paced warehouse environment
• Good working knowledge on Microsoft Systems as this role uses various Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong people skills – able to influence, coach and develop
• Knowledge of RedPrairie WMS is an advantage
• Team player
• Strong eye for detail

Package Description

• 37.5 hours per week, on a 5/7 Rota
• Working hours – 06:00 - 14:00
• £13.26 per hour
• A current, valid driving licence is essential for occasional shunting duties
