We are currently looking for a number of Warehouse Operatives to join our amazing returns department in Wigan.

Role Responsibility

We are a 2-person delivery specialist and so the items we move are big and bulky (sofas, fridges, TV's etc). The main duties of the role will include:

• Unloading Vehicles (ensuring all goods received are as they should be)
• Taking responsibility for returns and the returns area
• Processing returned goods using HHT (scanning goods back into warehouse)
• Separation of goods into correct cages
• Processing damaged goods
• Processing of Returned WEE Recycling product
• Control of recycling station
• Taking responsibility for your colleagues and your own Health and Safety
• Understanding and following all policies and processes following SSOW (safe systems of work)
• Communicating with other departments within the depot

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have experience working within a warehouse environment as an operative (full training will be given) with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will need to be computer literate as there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to use Red Prairie, training will be provided.
