We are now recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our busy team in Wigan, working closely with our warehouse and planning teams to help manage and control vehicle movements onsite.

Your role will include:

• Data entry on Microsoft Excel
• General Transport office duties
• Resolve concerns that may occur day to day within the Transport department
• Doing all you can to help ensure the smooth flow of vehicles operating within the AXL network
• Gather information with regards to driver delays
• Supporting the debrief of drivers upon their return to the depot
• Monitor on the road progress and keep management informed of any issues

What are we looking for? 

• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Microsoft excel knowledge
• Computer literate as you will need to use our Transport management systems (system specific training will be provided)
• Good communication skills
• Self-starter who is always looking for ways to improve the way we do things
