Stock Administration Clerk – PM Shift – Wigan

Job Introduction

Role Responsibility

As one of our valued Clerks, you will be responsible for various clerical activities within our Warehouse as well as helping out on the Warehouse floor.

Reporting into your team manager your role will include:

  • Process stock within the warehouse, working on spreadsheets and updating as necessary
  • Control and allocate work within the warehouse
  • Resolve concerns that may occur day to day
  • Monitor progress, keeping line management informed of any operational issues
  • Input data onto various systems
  • Create booking references linking the inbound delivery to its booking slot
  • General office and warehouse administration duties
  • Pick customer orders from location
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Take responsibility for your colleagues and your own Health and Safety

Working hours

The working hours are from 2pm to 10pm (on a 5over6 Rota). There will also be opportunity for you to work overtime shifts when we are busy!

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have previous experience of working within a warehouse environment and be able to work in an ever-changing environment with the additional pressure to deliver on time every day.

It would help if you were well organised, have a great eye for detail and are able to communicate effectively. Common sense is always recommended!

Essential Skills

  • Experience of working within a warehouse environment – either as an operative or administrator
  • Good working knowledge on Microsoft Systems as this role uses various Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Naturally organised and be able to influence and coordinate workloads and priorities

Package Description

  •       Basic hourly rate of £8.36
