People Services Administrator

ArrowXL are excited to announce that we’re currently recruiting for a People Services Administrator to join the Payroll team based from our Wigan Distribution Centre. Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager you will provide ‘first class’ administration support to the Payroll and Recruitment teams. Within this fast moving role, you must be able to manage and prioritise your workload, have great attention to detail, organisational skills and like working as part of numerous different teams.

Role Responsibility
This fast paced role will have two areas of responsibility – Payroll & Recruitment Administration
Payroll:
- Completing weekly reporting requirements
- Supporting the payroll team with the collation of payroll data for processing
- Providing information and administrative support with the data loads in People Services Systems
- Upload and maintain People Services Scanning & employee records, ensuring all People Services data held within the HR/Payroll Software is accurate and up to date
- Database administration and data cleanse support
- Completing reference requests for employment/Financial/External agencies
- Management of incoming communication by telephone, letter or the People Services group email, responding to basic enquiries and allocating technical queries to the correct team member.
- Maintaining a log of queries received and supporting the payroll team in investigative work to resolve these queries
- Allocating absence reporting calls as and when received
- General Administration of benefits documentation eg Very Application Forms, Death in Service Forms etc with timely reviews of documentation held
- Assist with the issuing of letters in relation to changes of terms and conditions
Recruitment:
- Collation of right to work documentation and issuing contracts of employment
- Raising DBS checks and conducting the weekly/monthly reporting and administration
- Supporting the Recruitment, Training and Payroll teams with the onboarding of new starters
- Supporting the Recruitment team with high volume vacancies (ATS Management)
- Maintaining and updating systems and spreadsheets for reporting purposes
- Assisting with recruitment projects, objectives and campaigns
Additional Information:
- Annual salary of £21,000PA
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
