Quite often these items need installing, which we do too.

Here at ArrowXL we run our LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) fleet to collect stock from clients and deliver returns, while maintaining the correct balance of trailers across the network (ensuring everything is in the right place, at the right time).

We are now recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our busy team in Wigan, working closely with our warehouse and planning teams to help manage and control vehicle movements onsite.

Role Responsibility

Supporting the Transport Network Controller, your duties will include;

• Data entry on Microsoft excel
• General Transport office duties
• Resolve concerns that may occur day to day within the Transport department
• Doing all you can to help ensure the smooth flow of vehicles operating within the AXL network
• Gather information with regards to driver delays
• Supporting the debrief of drivers upon their return to the depot
• Monitor on the road progress and keep management informed of any issues

The Ideal Candidate

With the amount of applications expected for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:

• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Microsoft excel knowledge
• Computer literate as you will need to use our Transport management systems (system specific training will be provided)
• Good communication skills
• Self-starter who is always looking for ways to improve the way we do things

The ideal candidate would be an experienced Administrator HOWEVER we will provide full training for this position, and if you are proficient with all Microsoft packages wanting to develop a career in logistics, we would love to hear from you!

Package Description

Additional Information

• Basic hourly rate of £9.50 (equating to an annual salary of £19,760)
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Working hours; 05:00 to 13:00
