We’re actively recruiting for a brand-new permanent role for an Internal Communications Specialist, based out of our Wigan site, with the hybrid home working in place too. We are looking for an outgoing and detail focussed communications specialist to contribute to and develop integrated communications and projects driving improvement to our overall colleague engagement. If you have experience either in an internal communications role and looking to own the process from start to finish, or you have experience in product or brand management / events, we would like to hear from you without delay! 

Main Responsibilities

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, and the Head of HR you will develop the ArrowXL Internal Communications plan, organise and support Engagement activities across the whole business including but not limited to:

• Supporting the People team's overarching strategy while assisting and leading on all internal communications across all platforms
• Analyse the current state of Arrow XL's internal communication mechanisms and offer suggestions for how they might be enhanced to ensure that all employees have access to the appropriate amount of information
• Maintaining an up-to-date intranet, communications app, and communications calendar
• Establishing and executing a monthly calendar of engagement activities and communications while maintaining all internal communications and shared inboxes
• Work with the Marketing Executive to make sure that all actions and graphics safeguard the ArrowXL brand and adhere to corporate marketing policies
• Creation, issue and collation of results of colleague pulse surveys across the business as required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience and proven in a similar role either in an internal communications role, product, or brand marketing position
• Experience using digital design systems including Adobe Creative Cloud & Canva
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT applications, systems and intranets
• Strong eye for detail, accuracy and organisation
• Minimum GCSE English Language/Literature at Grade 7 (B) or above
• Strong verbal and interpersonal abilities, including the confidence to effectively communicate with and form connections with stakeholders at all levels
• Imaginative and capable of transforming abstract thoughts into workable plans.
