IT Service Delivery Analyst - Wigan

Quite often these items need installing, we take care of that too.

ArrowXL are excited to announce that we’re now recruiting for an IT Service Delivery Analyst to join the team based from our Wigan Distribution Centre. Operating within a fast moving and rapidly evolving industry and mixing this with our ambitious growth plans means there is a constant dynamic and busy change pipeline, making this an exciting time to join our IT Department.

You will be responsible for numerous technical support and administrative duties essential to the smooth running of IT across the organisation, ensuring all employees experience a high level of satisfaction relating to their use of IT and technology across the business.

Role Responsibility

  • Perform technical and administrative duties that are essential to the smooth running of IT across ArrowXL
  • On a rotational basis, deliver 1st line service desk activity and cover for out of hours service
  • Liaise with third parties for support issues
  • Manage system administration and technical support for Active Directory, MS Windows, Office365, SharePoint, Microsoft teams and any other technologies used
  • Perform PC, laptop or tablet configuration for new employees
  • Deliver IT induction and IT user training
  • Improve the IT service through the application of continuous improvement techniques
  • Develop the operational relationship between ArrowXL and other technology partners to deliver an effective IT Service
  • Effectively communicate relevant IT service information
  • Manage and configure mobile phones and SIMs.
  • Manage user access requests for IT systems
  • Co-ordinate the IT spend and periodic budget/forecast information
  • Manage software licenses
  • Manage the IT asset records for all hardware, software, mobile phones and printers used within the organisation
  • Generate IT service reports (daily, weekly, monthly)

The Ideal Candidate

With the amount of applications expected for this exciting role, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:

  • Knowledge of MS Windows, MSO365 and IT desktop equipment
  • Experienced using the Microsoft teams communication platform
  • Understanding of ITIL
  • A technical aptitude
  • High level of numerical skill
  • Thorough and methodical approach, with a good eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to work under time constraints in a team environment
  • Experienced in providing support remotely
  • Full UK driving license
  • Active Directory user maintenance experience (desirable)
