Quite often these items need installing, which we do too.

At ArrowXL, we operate hundreds of client collections into our hubs each week, trunking goods between our Airdrie, Wigan, Worcester, and Enfield depots as well as outbases across the North. We are now recruiting for C+E Drivers to join our hard working Transport team in Wigan, transporting products so we have everything in the right place, at the right time.

Role Responsibility

•  Carrying out trunks to our other depots (articulated vehicles as well as wagon &  drags)
•  Ensure security of the load
•  Adhering to EU driving regulations and RT Working time directive compliance
•  Complying with ArrowXL’s policies and procedures
•  Following all accident and defect reporting procedures
•  Work in partnership with other departments in ArrowXL

The Ideal Candidate

With the amount of applications expected for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:

•        Hold the correct driving licence to drive a C+E vehicle
•        Experience driving C+E articulated vehicles (ideally 2 years)
•        Ideally have experience driving wagon & drag vehicles including operating with demount boxes (full training will be given)
•        Fully completed your driver CPC training
•        In possession of a digital tachograph card

Please also be aware that all our drivers are subject to a criminal record check and this is a mandatory part of our recruitment process.

Package Description

• 40 hours per week, on a 5/7 Rota
• Working hours – start times can vary between 16:00 and 20:00
• Basic hourly rate of £11.40
