ArrowXL is now recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Yard Shunter to join our hardworking transport team in Wigan, ensuring the vehicles in our yard are in the right place, at the right time.

Role Responsibility

•      Moving 7.5t & 12t vehicles around the yard
•      Relocating LGV’s to parking spaces
•      Reversing on to and off loading bays
•      Yard marshalling
•      Checking for vehicle defects
•      Weighing vehicles and recording data
•      Recording and communicating loaded routes and vehicles to relevant colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

With the amount of applications expected for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:

•        First class communication skills
•        Hold the correct driving licence to drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
•        Fully completed your driver CPC training
•        In possession of a digital tachograph card
•        Excellent attention to detail and work ethic

Package Description

Additional Information

•  40 hours per week over 5 days (PM Shift)
•  Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday (alternate weeks)
•  £9.13 per hour
